A very attractive Baume et Mercier automatic. The 18K solid gold ‘bark’ finish case is rather attractive and really quite rare, with a nice decorative texture blending seamlessly into the strap. The dial is a fine deep blue, tastefully plain, and complemented by a blue sapphire cabochon set into the crown and a smooth gold finish bezel. It features the Baume et Mercier name and logo in gold, with gold dauphine minute and hour hands, and a delicate gold seconds hand. At the 3 hour position, there is a small date aperature showing black numerals with a gold background. There are some minor scratches to the bezel, which can be seen in the photos, but overall this watch is in great condition. A very fine and beautiful watch which must be seen in our shop to be fully appreciated.
